Support
Help for players and organizers.
Start with the checks below. Contact support with clear information about your device, app version and what you tried to do.
I cannot join a hunt
Check your internet connection and make sure the hunt code uses the FOX-XXXXXX format.
Nearby open hunts appear only when you are within the configured range of the discovery point. Private hunts require a code or invitation QR.
The QR code does not scan
Allow camera access and keep the QR code well lit inside the scanner frame.
If scanning fails, use the manual hunt code. Invitation QR codes and capture QR codes are used in different app flows.
Location is not working
Turn on location services and allow Vulpi to access location while using the app.
Active hunts need location for searching, signals and finishing the hunt.
I do not get signals or clues
Signals appear during active fox transmissions. Between transmissions the app may look quiet or waiting.
Check that you are still in the active hunt, location is available and your phone compass is working.
How do I start a hunt?
Choose Create Hunt, set name, duration, visibility and range, let players join and select the fox.
The hunt starts when the organizer starts it and the fox is ready.
Which permissions does Vulpi use?
Camera is used for QR invitations and capture QR codes. Location is used during active hunts.
Microphone, notifications, Bluetooth and NFC are not needed to join a hunt.
How do I report a problem?
Include your role, Android version, Vulpi version, hunt status and error message.
Do not share secret codes or precise live locations in support messages.
