Origins

The technology changed. The hunt stayed.

Fox hunts existed long before smartphones. In amateur radio, fox hunting means searching for a hidden radio transmitter with receivers and directional antennas.

That tradition continues today as Amateur Radio Direction Finding (ARDF), with competitions and international championships.

Vulpi gives the same tense idea a modern twist: a hidden fox, limited clues and the uncertainty of searching, now with the phone you already carry.
